The S.A.V.E was founded in 2001 by group of qualified and experienced Engineers; Eng Hassan Elmi former instructors of the German Technical Training Center (GTZ) in Mogadishu, Eng Abdul Mohamed; (Electrical & Electronic from UK) and Mr Abdirahim Wehliye who has more than 20 years experience for running a Vocational training programmes and has been in managerial positions.

SAVE primary goal is to combat youth idleness; a main reason for joining armed militias by offering integrated technical training and skills development opportunities.,hence our school motto :
'' Trade Guns For Tools ''.
